The World Class PSE Par70 Flow Sensor is designed with multiple, averaging velocity sensor ports. It’s function is to sense the velocity of a fluid flowing in a pope or other closed conduit. As the fluid passes the sensor tube it impinges on the upstream, high pressure sensor ports. The downstream ports indicate the low pressure.
The resulting differential pressure is sensed by an appropriate differential pressure instrument. Based on Bernoulli’s theorem, this differential pressure can be expressed in flow inits. Using a World Class PSE Par-70 Flow Sensor in association with an appropriate differential pressure instrument provides repeatably accurate, convenient flow measurement for most any flow measuring requirement. A variety of World Class PSE-70 Flow Sensor designs are available and applicable to most any combinations of flowing process fluid conditions.
